Please carefully read and consider the following terms and conditions when applying for one of the Social Inclusion Action Group (SIAG) Frankston’s 25 Neighbour Day giveaways of $100 Woolworths voucher.

  • The promoter is Social Inclusion Action Group Frankston, under the Auspices of Frankston City Council (ABN 49 494 768 065). Registered office 30 Davey Street, Frankston.
  • This giveaway is not affiliated with Woolworths, Facebook or Instagram.
  • Applicants must live within the Frankston municipality.
  • One applicant per community group/club, Street, Road, Court, Way or Drive.
  • SIAG and Council reserve the right to deny an application if it does not comply with terms and conditions outlined in this document.
  • SIAG and Council reserves the right to cancel or amend the giveaway and these terms and conditions at any time without notice, should circumstances arise beyond SIAG and Council’s control.
  • The first 25 registrations received that meet all eligibility criteria will be selected to receive a voucher.
  • The decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.

Eligibility Criteria:

Applications will be assessed based on the following:

  • If the application can provide details of how many households will be connected to your neighbourhood event. A minimum of four participating households is required within the applicant’s neighbourhood.
  • If the application can explain how the event will contribute to connection in the neighbourhood.
  • If an applicant is a previous recipient of Council funding, that funding must have fully complied with the terms and conditions of that funding, Applicants who have not properly acquitted funds, used funds for the agreed purpose, or submitted required accountability documentation are not eligible.
  • This giveaway is not available for Council-run services, SIAG and Council staff members or their immediate family members, Councillors or contractors to Frankston City Council.

Prize:

  • Successful applicants will receive one of the available 25, $100 vouchers to be used at Woolworths to purchase items for their Neighbour Day event. This excludes items such as alcohol and tobacco related items.
  • The voucher will be emailed directly to each individual successful applicant.
  • Voucher recipients are required to: spend funds for the agreed purpose and account for the use of funds (provide receipts for items purchased); complete a feedback form after the event to share more about your experience and help us learn what went well and what can be improved in future years.
  • Neighbour Day voucher will be cancelled and requested to be returned if:
    • The voucher was allocated based on false or misleading information as provided by the applicant;
    • The applicant withdraws from the event;
    • Is not undertaking the event as applied; and, or
    • The event has been cancelled.

All personal information gathered for the purpose of the competition will be only used for this competition. Personal Information will not be used for any other purpose or project. Frankston City Council is committed to protecting your privacy.

Council is using software provided by Social Pinpoint for the Engage Frankston! platform to facilitate community interaction via surveys, discussion on ideas walls and other engagement opportunities. You can choose to sign up to the page to manage your involvement and receive updates and communications on specific projects. You will be asked to provide an email address and create a password. In many cases you can provide your views on topics anonymously, however if you create a profile and participate in discussion forums, your profile name and comments will be visible to others in the discussion. You can participate in some of the engagement activities on the platform without signing up and creating a profile, however you will not be able to engage with all of the features of the site.

Check the privacy notices included with surveys and questionnaires for more detail about how personal information will be handled for that specific project.

Terms of Use

The following Terms and Conditions govern the use of Engage Frankston (“the site”). The software platform is owned by Social Pinpoint Pty Ltd and operated by us, Frankston City.

By accessing and using this site, you are choosing to accept and comply with the Terms presented throughout this agreement as well as the Privacy Policy and Moderation Policy. These Terms apply to all visitors and users of this site. Linked sites, affiliated services or third party content or software have their own Terms that you must comply with. If you disagree with any of the Terms presented in this agreement, you may discontinue using the site immediately.

If you are under 18 years old, please ensure that your parent or guardian understands and accepts these Terms and Conditions (including the Privacy Policy and Moderation Policy).

What are the conditions with a user’s account?

While using the site, you must not violate any applicable laws and regulations. It is our duty to protect the confidentiality of content you provide on our site in accordance with our Privacy Policy. When you create an account with us, you must always provide us with accurate information. Failure to provide accurate information violates the Terms, which may result in immediate termination of your account on our service. You are responsible for protecting your own password you use for this site and for any activities done under that password. What do we require from our users?

You must understand and agree that, without limitation:

  • all information, data, images and other materials are the sole responsibility of the person from whom the content originated;
  • you are prohibited from advertising or offering to sell or buy any goods and services
  • you cannot transmit Content that contains software viruses or programs designed to change or destroy the functionality of any computer software or hardware; or
  • you cannot collect or store personal data about other users of the site
  • you cannot impersonate any person or entity, including without limitation to a Frankston City representative
  • you cannot interrupt or interfere with the site or servers or networks connected to the site
  • you cannot attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site or other use accounts

Can your account be suspended or terminated?

We may terminate or suspend access to your site and/or account immediately, without prior notice, including without limitation if you breach the Terms. We may immediately deactivate or delete your account and all the related files and information in your account. After your account has been terminated, the content you have posted may also remain indefinitely on the site.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed in accordance with the laws of Victoria, Australia, without regards to its conflict of law provisions.

Indemnification

Frankston City, its subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, agents, licensors and other partners are not responsible for any loss, liability, claim, or demand, including legal fees, made by any third party due to or arising from a breach of this agreement and/or any breach of your representations and warranties set forth above.

What content do we own?

This website contains the copyrighted material, trademarks, patents, trade secrets and other proprietary information (“Intellectual Property”) of Frankston City and its suppliers and licensors. Frankston City owns and retains all proprietary rights in the intellectual property. All intellectual property in the content of this site including without limitation to text, software, source code, pages, documents and online graphics, photographs, sounds, audio, video and other interactive features are owned by or licensed to us.

Any original content that you submit or post on our site may be made available to the public and allows users to share your content (with the end user acknowledging your contribution) under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 Australian License.

Except for Intellectual Property which is in the public domain or for which you have been given written permission, you may not copy, alter, transmit, sell, distribute any of the Intellectual Property on this site.

We are not responsible for your communications or dealings, including payment and delivery of goods or services, with a third party found via our website. Any loss or damage incurred from those communications or dealings are solely between the user and the third party.
