What we will do in 2023–24:

1. Implement year 3 actions for Arts & Culture Strategic Plan
2. Build capacity & partner with creatives/community to deliver events & art
3. Deliver festivals & events that build our reputation
4. Develop a sculpture & eclectic street art culture
5. Implement year 1 actions of Public Art & Destination Events Strategies.

Enrich lives of older residents & people with disabilities with opportunities to enable participation and independent living

What we will do in 2023-24:

1. Deliver annual Seniors Festival, programs and activities to enhance participation and social inclusion
2. Support organisations that are providing valued services to older residents
3. Implement Disability Action Plan year 3 actions
4. Facilitate improved access for people with disabilities to services & transport options
5. Support/promote CALD & seniors groups

Targeting community needs through development programs and grants

What we will do in 2023-24:

1. Design Community Development programs to meet resident needs
2. Deliver Council’s grants program
3. Build connections between volunteers and volunteer organisations through Impact Volunteering
4. Implement year 3 actions from Council's Library Action Plan
5. Investigate organisation-wide community facilities booking & matching project

Work with community groups to develop future leaders, diverse culture & gender equality

What we will do in 2023–24:

1. Continue to build volunteering diversity
2. Expand culture change program for sporting clubs to achieve greater gender equity
3. Work with schools & disengaged youth to build relationship awareness
4. Promote leadership & governance training

Advocacy, support & referral services for residents in need

1. Monitor demographic trends to meet future needs
2. Financial support for eligible emergency organisations
3. Deliver Home & Community Care & Home Support Program
4. Supporting Frankston City Strategic Housing and Homelessness Alliance Five-Year Strategic Plan
5. Referral services through Neighbourhood Houses & youth services

Build acknowledgement and respect for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultural heritage and history

1. Implement year two initiatives for Council's Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP)
2. Project manage the masterplan development and advocacy for the redevelopment of the Nairm Marr Djambana gathering place.
