What is happening?

The new Jubilee Park Indoor Stadium is currently being constructed. It will feature six multipurpose indoor courts including a 1000 seat show court, elite training facilities, female-friendly change rooms and a crèche for players and spectators. The demolition of the existing stadium and vegetation removal works within the new carpark were completed in December 2021.

The facility will include a cafe, community meeting and function rooms and four indoor cricket training nets and facilities to service the adjoining sports oval. Council awarded the construction contract to Lloyd Group and works are scheduled for completion in June 2023.

This project is jointly-funded by Council, State and Federal Governments and local sports clubs. The improvements will benefit resident clubs, Frankston District Netball Association, Peninsula Waves, Frankston Peninsula Premier Cricket Club and Frankston YCW Football Netball Club, as well as community sport more broadly. The stadium will offer more opportunities for netball and basketball including the ability to host major regional netball and basketball events.
