What is happening?
The redevelopment of Kevin Collopy Pavilion will begin in July 2023. This exciting $5.33 million redevelopment will include:
A renovated and extended two story pavilion to accommodate female friendly and Disability Discrimination Act 1992 (DDA) complaint facilities and amenities. This will service the operations of two local sports clubs and providing sporting opportunities to strengthen female participation.
The demolition of the existing groundkeepers building and public toilets with new facilities to be built and co-located within the Kevin Collopy Pavilion footprint.
It will include the internal demolition of the ground floor and extension to accommodate female friendly facilities, umpires facilities, canteens, storage and first aid rooms.
Following the completion of works, the two storey upgraded Kevin Collopy Pavilion will allow the Frankston Peninsula Cricket Club and Frankston YCW Football Netball Club to welcome new and existing players and to strengthen female participation through the ability to manage additional programs and extend pathway opportunities.
