About the project
Rosemary Reserve is located at 82R Monterey Boulevard, Frankston North. The current playground was constructed in the 1970’s and has reached the end of its useful life. The paths in the park are in poor condition and there is little park amenity.
The Frankston City Play Strategy (2021) recommends creating a welcoming community park with a play space for younger children, park amenity such as seating, drinking fountain and new trees.
We have prepared a draft concept plan to illustrate proposed improvements at Rosemary Reserve including:
- The construction of a new play space, ensuring that the fire truck is retained and refurbished
- New paths and better connections;
- Picnic shelter;
- New park furniture including seating, drinking fountain and picnic tables;
- New trees and garden plantings.
