Other amenities - please specify

  • A shelter over the park would be great so the park could be used all year round.
  • Shade an water is all you need really, bins are good.
  • Lights for night time skating.
  • Fixing up cracks in concrete.
  • Shade for summer and wet days.
  • Need a public toilet with changing space.
  • Security cameras.
  • Lights are important for maximum user engagement during winter months. Free car parks for users and parents. Rubbish bins in obvious areas.
  • Some skateparks have added partial shaded areas over obstacles to allow people to use it during rain. This allows the area to be useful at all times of the year (which is great for us Victorians as the winter here can be very long and grim).
  • Lights also mean that older people can use the space after they've finished work. In winter it is often too hard to get their in time before it's dark. And in winter your chances are few and far between on the Weekends if its raining.
  • Kids are doing a great job at building jumps and looking after the area at McClelland Dr in Langwarrin.
  • Comfortable area for parents to sit so they don’t sit on the skatepark .
  • A vert ramp!
  • Lights
  • Somewhere for young people to congregate and access local council resources
  • Lights for night skating
  • Large auditorium to engage in community cultural events such as sharing local creative projects. Music, art, film ect.
