Carrum Downs Recreation Reserve is located on the corner of Wedge Road and Frankston-Dandenong Road in Carrum Downs. The reserve is one of the largest sections of open space in the Carrum Downs and Skye area.
The City of Frankston Play Strategy recommends the design and construction of a destination play space at Carrum Downs Recreation Reserve as a high-priority and to seek additional external funding to support the project.
In 2021, Council was successful in securing a Victorian State Government grant through the Park Revitalisation Grants Programme for this project.
Carrum Downs Recreation Reserve play space is supported by the Victorian Government through the Parks Revitalisation Programme.

Council is using software provided by Harvest Digital Planning for the Engage Frankston! platform to facilitate community interaction via surveys, discussion on ideas walls and other engagement opportunities.
