About Lady Emily Reserve

Lady Emily Reserve is located on Lady Emily Way and McGowan Drive in Skye.

As the play equipment at Lady Emily Reserve has reached the end of its useful life, we plan to create a new play space and undertake park improvement works at Lady Emily Reserve in line with Council’s Play Strategy recommendations.

Between February and April 2020, community consultation occurred with 139 residents surrounding the reserve. We received 10 responses which indicated the following be included in the concept plan:

  • Basket / nest swing, swings
  • BBQ with picnic table setting (undercover)
  • Shade Sails
  • Safe Small, Medium and Large slides

We have also taken into account community feedback received on the Draft Frankston Play Strategy.

More information about the feedback received in previous consultations can be found in the Document Library on this page.

Tell us what you think about the proposed concept design

We are seeking your input and ideas to help us prepare a playground and park improvement plan for Lady Emily Reserve.

In addition to designing and building great play opportunities, we would also like to hear from you about what is important for you to see in the park before construction starts i.e. park furniture, trees and other ideas.

Before we finalise the concept and go ahead with redeveloping the playground and park at Lady Emily Reserve in 2021-2022, we would like to hear your suggestions for concept plan refinement.
